昨日5月14日は『母の日』でしたね😄✨
日頃お世話になっているお母さんへ
皆さんはどのように感謝を思いを伝えましたか？

日頃の思いを手紙に書いたり、プレゼントを渡したり
食事に招待したり、お花をプレゼントしたり、、、etc.

今回は、そんな『母の日』にちなんでこんな企画！

毎週月曜日にレッスンをしているアメリカ出身講師Charles先生が
アメリカの母の日の祝い方を教えてくれました🎶

Hi, it’s Charles.
I’m working in Tenjin on Mondays, please come in for a lesson.
Mother’s Day has just finished here in Japan, actually it is celebrated on the same day in the US.
Flowers are also a popular gift on Mother’s Day in the US but
we often give roses or some mixed arrangements to our mothers. We order them to be delivered or we bring them to her.
Another popular activity on Mother’s Day is Mother’s Day Brunch. Many restaurants offer this special meal.
Families go to popular restaurants and eat buffet style brunch. There are a wide range of prices for brunch, it all depends on where you go. Mothers are often given complimentary champagne.
There is a mixture of breakfast items and lunch items.
Some breakfast items include; omelets, scrambled eggs, quiche, waffles, pancakes, bacon and so on. Some lunch items include; prime rib, baked ham, roast pork, pastas, salads and so on.
