Out of all the countries to choose from, how did you decide on Japan?
I chose Japan because I believe Japanese food is delicious and I appreciate the easy access to sushi. I also enjoy visiting shrines and temples, exploring the culture of Japan.
What surprised you the most about Japan?
Japan is very professional and formal in all areas of the workplace compared to the US and other parts of the world.
What is one of your favorite aspects about Japan?
I love all the characters that Japan has such as Gudetama and Hello Kitty. In addition, Japanese animations such as Miyazaki films fascinate me.
Has anyone ever mistaken you for a famous entertainer/ celebrity?
Since I came to Japan, I have often been told that I resemble Japanese figure skater Mao Asada.
