映画好きなRenaldo先生が映画についてメッセージを書いてくれました♪
There’s been two movies that I wanted to watch at the theatre recently, but I haven’t been able to watch them because of two main problems. One, the times I’m available to watch them, and two because the movies weren’t playing in English. I was planning on watching “Spider Man Brand New Day”, but the movie doesn’t play in English during the evening. I looked up if it would be showing during the week, thinking I would be able to go watch it on one of my days off, but the movie was only showing at 8:30am, and I mean I didn’t even know theatres were open that early. Have you ever had any problems with the show times, or the language of a movie you wanted to watch?
My conclusions to this dilemma is for me to watch the movie in Osaka, which would be quite inconvenient, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do for the things you want. I found a show that will be playing on Saturday, which is tomorrow as I am writing this at 6:15pm at a Toho theatre in Namba, which would give me just enough time to make it there if I leave right after work.
The other movie that I wanted to watch is The Odyssey which is a fictional story based on Greek mythology. The reason I haven’t been able to watch this movie is completely different from why I couldn’t watch Spider Man but I’m sure I’d face similar barriers with trying to watch this. In my home country Canada, “The Odyssey” was released July 17, however in Japan, the movie won’t be released until September 11th. This gives me time to prepare when I’ll watch it and there’s a few things I’ve now learned about watching movies in the area. I can now use what I know now in order to find a show that I can watch after work on a weekend. Have you ever faced any challenges, that became easier once you’ve applied what you’ve learned from similar, or other challenges you’ve faced?
