My Summer Vacation Plans

Dear Students.

Summer vacation has finally arrived, and I have to admit that I am just as excited as many of you are. Although I am your English teacher, I do not spend every holiday sitting with grammar books and marking papers. I enjoy travelling, meeting new people, discovering different cultures, and collecting experiences that I can bring back into the classroom. After all, learning English is also about understanding the world around us.

This summer is going to be one of my busiest and most exciting yet. One of the biggest highlights will be travelling to South Korea. I have always loved learning about different cultures, and Korea has so much to offer. I am looking forward to exploring beautiful cities, trying delicious Korean food, visiting unique cafes, and experiencing everyday life there. I am also excited because I will be DJing while I am in Korea. Music has always been one of my greatest passions, and being able to perform in another country is an incredible opportunity. I cannot wait to share good music, meet new people, and create unforgettable memories.

The adventure does not stop there. After Korea, I will be travelling to Osaka, where I will also be DJing. Osaka is famous for its amazing food, friendly atmosphere, and energetic nightlife, so I am really looking forward to performing there. Every audience is different, and that is one of the things I love most about being a DJ. You never know which song will get everyone dancing or which moment will become the highlight of the night.

I will also be spending quite a bit of time in Tokyo, where I have more DJ performances planned. Tokyo is one of my favourite cities because there is always something new to discover. One day you can find yourself relaxing in a peaceful park, and the next you are surrounded by bright lights, exciting music, and incredible restaurants. Between my DJ events, I hope to explore different neighborhoods, enjoy great coffee, catch up with friends, and maybe even discover a few hidden gems that I have never seen before.

Being both an English teacher and a DJ might seem like an unusual combination, but I think they have something important in common. Whether I am teaching a lesson or playing music, my goal is always to connect with people, create a positive atmosphere, and help others enjoy the experience. Teaching English is about communication, confidence, and curiosity. Music brings those same qualities to life in a completely different way.

For those of you who have been following my DJ journey, here is a little announcement. During the summer, you can usually find me in Futamatagawa every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you are ever free, feel free to book me for your lessons. Whether it is during the day or night, I would love to see you. We will have an awesome time together with fun summer themed lessons planned, lots of laughter, and plenty of positive energy.

I also hope each of you has a fantastic summer vacation. Whether you are travelling overseas, visiting family, enjoying time with friends, reading a good book, playing sports, or simply relaxing at home, I hope you make wonderful memories. Remember that every experience teaches us something. Keep asking questions, stay curious, and never stop learning because education does not only happen inside a classroom.

When school starts again, I cannot wait to hear all about your summer adventures. I hope you will share your stories with me, just as I will share mine with you. Perhaps I will even have a few funny stories from Korea, Osaka, or Tokyo that will make you laugh.
