During June, many fairs appear around the United States. Near my hometown there are two famous fairgrounds, the Orange County Fair and the San Diego Fair. They have rollercoasters, various local art exhibitions, and a lot of very interesting deep-fried foods.
They are only open from June until the fourth of July. Many famous singers and bands also attract people to come to the fair. I have seen Weird Al Yankovic perform twice at the fair’s concert arena.
These festivals are a celebration of Summer and lead up to the fourth of July, which is America’s birthday.
