On my days off I often play badminton with different recreational groups around Tokyo. I am not a strong player per se, but I find the exercise to be good for me. I also go to Uneo for my weekly Japanese lessons. It has been a long, difficult, process but understanding Japanese will definitely be a huge benefit for me here. Finally, throughout my week I research interesting ramen restaurants around my area and, after careful consideration, I choose one to go to on my day off. Before I came to Japan I never knew the sheer bliss of a good bowl of ramen.

In general, I try to find balance in my life, keeping my mind, body, and spirit fulfilled. Badminton enriches my body, language learning enriches my mind, and ramen enriches my soul. I take great satisfaction from my days of work.
