皆様はどんな1年を過ごされましたか？？
田無校スタッフは、新たな出会いが沢山あった1年でした😊

さて、本日も田無校に出勤している講師から
自己紹介をさせて頂きます。
本日紹介するのは、アメリカからやってきた
期待の新人Zachの紹介です🎵

Hello, my name is Zach Sessions and I’m a new teacher
at Tanashi and Higashi Yamato.👋
I’m from Chicago, Illinois in the United States and I’m 22 years old.
I have a degree from the University of Michigan in history with a minor in political science. I actually graduated back in April, so fairly recently!
Next year, when I return to the US, I plan to attend law school and become a lawyer! This is my second time in Japan, with my first being back in May ‘23,
but I have previously lived in Copenhagen, London, Berlin, and Madrid,
so this is not my first time spending a lot of time in another country by myself. While I never did get good at Danish while in Denmark, I do speak German, Spanish, and English (Although I had a slight advantage with English).
I have also spent a great deal of time teaching outdoor education,
so I have experience, and a love for teaching!

My interests include movies, hiking, and trying new foods,
and I’m an avid player of board games and video games🎮
While my favorites are historical grand strategy games,
like Victoria and Hearts of Iron (Games where you play as a nation and interact with the globe), but I still do enjoy the usual Nintendo and PlayStation games as well. Another of my passions is sports. I love watching and playing Football, American Football, Baseball, Hockey, and Basketball⚾
I’m more than happy to have a long conversation about any of them!
I’ve also spent time playing Pokemon and other Trading Card Games too!
All in all, I would say that I have a really wide array of interests and tha
you should have no trouble finding one that we share!
