When I’m not working at NOVA,
I often like to spend relaxing days exploring my local area and experiencing the foods and activities that Osaka has to offer.
(出勤日ではない時、住んでいるところを探索したり、
大阪の食べ物やアクティビティを体験したりして、のんびり過ごすのが好きです。)
I love to go to the supermarket and browse all the fascinating and exotic foods I can try. Recently, I’ve enjoyed cooking Mapo Tofu with fried rice, or when the weather is a bit colder,
I like to make a hearty vegetable stew or some homemade sukiyaki.
（スーパーマーケットに行って、魅力的でエキゾチックな食品を見て回るのが大好きです。
最近は、麻婆豆腐をチャーハンと一緒に作ったり、もう少し寒くなったら、
たっぷりの野菜の煮物や手作りのすき焼きを作るのが好きです。）
I often ride my bicycle around my neighborhood and go for walks in nearby parks, or go hiking mountains when I have the free time.
One of my favorite experiences in Japan was hiking up Mt. Rokko in Hyogo and then relaxing at the Onsen in Arima after.
（自転車で近所を散歩したり、近くの公園を散歩したり、時間があれば山登りもします。
日本での好きな体験のひとつは、兵庫県の六甲山に登って、そのあと有馬の温泉でのんびりしたことです。）
It’s so fun meet new people and to practice Japanese, so I often go to karaoke bars or my local izakaya to make friends and practice speaking. It’s slow progress, but I’ve definitely improved at speaking and singing.
（新しい人に会ったり、日本語を練習したりするのはとても楽しいので、
友達を作ったり話す練習をしたりするために、カラオケバーや地元の居酒屋によく行きます。
上達は遅いですが、話すのも歌うのも確実に上達しました。）
I can’t wait to travel more within Japan. Specifically,
I would be thrilled to visit Hokkaido or Kyushu soon since I want to see the beautiful nature and
eat the delicious food in both of those places.
I’m looking forward to many more great memories in Japan!
