今日はこの度新しく入間校に来てくれました講師を紹介します🎀

Hello everyone. 😀🖐 My name is Mason and I’m from London, UK.
I studied Asian Studies and French in University, in Canterbury. So, I speak French too and some Japanese. I learnt a lot about Japanese culture, history and religion. I am really interested in Shinto and shrines. I arrived in Japan in March, so I’ve only been here for around six months. It was always my dream to become an English teacher in Japan when I attended University so I’m so thrilled to be one now. Since I arrived in Japan I have done a lot of sightseeing such as: visit Tokyo Skytree, Akihabara, Harajuku, Shimokitazawa, Shibuya, Shinjuku and Kyoto! I really enjoyed checking out local buildings, culture, food, and shrines in Kyoto. 🗾🎌 Because I’ve studied languages nearly all my life, I know how difficult learning English can be sometimes, so if I teach you, I will be very understanding and patient. I am still learning Japanese in my free time and it can be challenging. Especially learning Kanji. Because you don’t always know what you’re looking at until you know how to read it! 😂😂

In my free time I love to play video games, listen to music, and watch Netflix movies, shows, and anime. There are so many Japanese animes I am obsessed with and if you ever ask me what my hobbies are in class, I’m bound to mention them to you! I love Sword Art Online, Pokemon, Tokyo Ghoul, and Kakegurui, just to name a few. As for music, I love listening to K-Pop and some J-Pop, even though I can only understand a few words. I love Blackpink, Twice, and JO1. 🥰

I look forward to teaching all of you. If we ever free-talk, one of my favourite things to mention is where to sightsee in London and I am so excited to hear when some of you go on holiday to the UK – so please tell me! Additionally, whenever I spot Americanisms, lonewords, or overly polite speech, I’ll always let you know and teach you about the British equivalents and casual terms so you’re all prepared to travel to the UK. 😎
