It’s President’s Day! President’s Day is celebrated as a Federal Holiday in February since two very important past president’s birthdays are this month.

日本にも天皇誕生日がありますが、アメリカにも大統領の日があって
過去の２人の重要な大統領の誕生日の間をとった日がPresident’s dayになります

This year President’s Day is on February 20th. Since it’s a Federal Holiday, many working adults and students have a day to relax at home. Since the holiday lands on a Monday this year, most Americans have a 3-day weekend. Many getaway to warmer places or just stay home and relax.
今年は2月20日で祝日の月曜日にあたるため、ほとんどのアメリカの人たちは
3連休です。暖かい場所に出かけたり、家でリラックスするそうです🎵
Sabrinaは家族や友人と盛大なBBQをしたりしていたそうです！
春も近づいているので暖かい日も多いそうですよ(^^)
My family and friends would usually get together and have a huge BBQ. Since Spring is around the corner, the weather is often pretty warm.
