12月といえば！
クリスマス🎄のイベントがありますよね😊
今回は、学校🏫の先生のようなBryantから
クリスマスの過ごし方について聞きました！
Christmas for many is primarily a family holiday that consists of several factors.
For the weeks before Christmas, it is a tradition to gather in traveling groups in the evening to sing Christmas carols,
or Christmas songs sung in groups outdoors, in front of houses usually in smaller towns and cities.
First the Christmas tree is important,as it represents the cooperative effort of the family to decorate it.
Sometimes the house is decorated as well, but this varies, and usually depends on the family tradition.
Next, the giving of gifts is a remembrance that generosity and giving are important parts of Christmas.
Also, the small children hang their Christmas stockings traditionally by the fireplace to be filled with gifts from Santa Claus,
but since many houses no longer have fireplaces,the hanging of stockings can be more creative.
Finally, many families have a traditional festive Christmas dinner,
which in our family was a large affair with grandparents and grandchildren.
Many people also observe that the celebration of Christmas is originally a religious tradition,
so many families attend midnight church services, while others do not.
Gifts are usually opened by children and adults on Christmas morning after breakfast.
After that, extended families also regularly gather on Christmas morning for a greeting or brunch,
and to enjoy the company of family members who might be visiting from far away, or nearby.
Our family would also visit our family members who could not travel, or were distant relatives.
