Watching movies can be a good way to learn a bit of English. They can also have a fun and interesting story, too! Here are a few movies that are interesting, and could be a little educational.
1: Back to the Future🚘
This movie is about a high school student with a scientist for a best friend. His scientist friend, creates a time machine, and the high school student uses it to travel back 20 years. He ends up meeting his parents, and accidentally prevents them from meeting! He then has to get his parents to fall in love so he can be born! It has a lot of interesting conversations, and it’s very funny! The special effects are very interesting, too!
2: A Fistful of Dollars✨
This movie is very interesting, because it is actually a remake of a Japanese movie! It is a cowboy movie, but it is based on the Akira Kurosawa movie Yojimbo! It was made by Italians, filmed in Spain, and stars a very famous actor named Clint Eastwood. The voices are very clear, so you can hear the dialogue very well. If you’ve ever seen the original Kurosawa movie, this is a very interesting choice!
3: The Lord of the Rings💍
If you like fantasy movies, this is the ultimate fantasy movie. It’s actually 3 movies, and they’re all quite long, but the story is one of the best ever told. The characters are all really good, and the special effects are amazing, especially for the time it was made! It’s based on a book written by a famous English author. The dialogue might be a little old-fashioned, so this will be a good challenge of your listening ability!
