Christmas and Covid
How will you be spending Christmas and the New Year this year?
Are you able to visit and celebrate with family and friends?
Usually Christmas is a festive season to be enjoyed; a time for meeting, eating, and drinking. A time for giving and receiving presents, relaxing, and enjoying the end of the year.
This is usually what happens!
However, last year in the U.K. we were in a mandatory lockdown situation: people were prohibited from visiting others, and everyone had to stay at home. Many had to celebrate on their own, or with only a partner (or pet!) for company.
This is not the spirit of Christmas!
We are still uncertain how this year (2021) will be. Everyone hopes that there will be no restrictions, but that may not be the case. It may be some time until Christmas is restored to normality. The sooner, the better!
Christmas is a special time of year. Let’s try to keep it that way!
