今日は、『Jamesの休日』です！
香川に来て2か月、蔓延防止でどこも閉館していたりで外出できなかったのは残念！
ようやく開園した栗林公園にお散歩に行けたみたいです！
ずっと行ってみたいって言ってたので行けてよかったね😆
そこでとんでもない目にあってしまったJames・・・

A day out in Ritsurin Park
Since arriving in Takamatsu two months ago, I feel like I’ve become somewhat of a Hikikomori because, other than the local CoCo Ichi, I haven’t travelled anywhere or visited any of Kagawa’s tourist spots and famous locations and have mostly been spending my days off at home watching movies and listening to music and so on.
However, since I arrived, I’ve wanted to visit Ritsurin Park. Unfortunately, it has been closed the whole time due to the preventive measures put in place to stop the spread of the Corona Virus. As it finally re-opened on the first of October, I took the opportunity to visit on one of my days off this weekend.
It goes without saying that the gardens themselves were really beautiful and peaceful and I found walking around them to be very relaxing. They’re a perfect place to escape to if you want a quiet place to relax. However, if you’re planning to visit anytime soon, I would definitely recommend taking some insect repellant as it seems that, after having no visitors for nearly two months, the mosquitos and other insects have become ridiculously hungry as they practically ate me alive.

(Oh, the pond near Fukiage Spring is a great place to sit down and enjoy a beer.)
Since I’m only going to be here for a couple more weeks, I really need to get out more and do some sightseeing. So, if anyone has any recommendations, please let me know！
