In modern times, the holiday of Halloween is celebrated by dressing up in costumes. Mostly people dress in horror themed outfits, but nowadays you will often see famous movie characters or other pop culture icons.
It is a long established custom for children to knock on the doors of peoples’ houses and ask for candy by saying “trick or treat”. If the home owner doesn’t have candy, they have to say “trick”, and the children traditionally would play a practical joke on them.

”Trick or Treat”=お菓子くれなきゃいたずらしちゃうぞ

で有名ですが単語ずつ分けて考えてみると…

「Trick」いたずら

「or」もしくは

「Treat」おごり、ごちそう、もてなし

いろんなフレーズがあって面白いですよね(^^♪
