I’m down for a hike!/I’m up for a hike!
They actually both mean the same thing, despite being opposite words: I’m interested in/okay with a hike!
You can use this with almost any situation. (I’m down with ramen for dinner tonight./I’m up for seeing an action movie./I’m down to stay in tonight.) When asked as a question (Are you down/up for a coffee?) the usual positive response is ‘For sure’ (pronounced furrr sure).

誘いに賛同するときに、downを使うそうです。
downと聞くと、気分が悪いという意味なのかな？と思いますが、
このように言葉にはいろんな意味があります。
