★Martin (from England)
Every summer, I like to get outside as much as possible! During the obon break this year, I visited lake Yogo and Hikone-jo in Shiga. I also got to see Sengari Dam in Hyogo. Being near water is so relaxing!!

I played with my pet turtle Shelly on the balcony.
★Sam (from the USA)
We visited Shimane. It was a perfect trip because we had automatic social distancing. We saw well under 100 people in total during the entire visit. It was amazing to be nearly on our own.

I didn’t do anything anything memorable. I cleaned the house, went shopping, and cooked dinner( many times).
However I did get to watch lots of interesting Youtube videos.
