今回は英語編をご紹介いたします！🌸

Q1: あなたの国の母の日はいつですか？
－ Mother’s Day isn’t held on a fixed day in the UK. It’s connected to Easter, which is a Christian religious festival, so Mother’s Day is usually held on a Sunday near the end of March.／UK
－ In the USA, Mother’s Day is the 2nd Sunday of May (the same as in Japan).／US
Q2: 祝日になりますか？
－ It’s not a public holiday.／UK
－ No it isn’t.／US
Q3: 一般的にどのようにお祝いしますか？
－ Usually if possible people visit their mothers and give or send gifts such as flowers or chocolates.／UK
－ Usually it should be a day for mothers to relax. Sometimes we start by making breakfast for her, or taking her out for Sunday brunch. We usually give a greeting card and maybe flowers. Older children may give presents like a ticket to a spa or massage etc.／US
Q4: 母の日のお祝いメッセージは英語でどう書きますか？
※メールや手紙で
－ Some people might send a card with a Mother’s Day message in the post, but these days electronic messages are probably more common.／UK
－ Have a happy Mother’s Day! I hope you can relax today. Love you always!／US
Q5: 直接会った際には、お母様にどう伝えますか？
－ Typically we say “happy Mother’s Day”／UK
－ Happy Mother’s Day! Thanks for being such a great mom. Love you!／US
