先日Jimmyとハロウィンについて話していた時に
アメリカの話題についても話してくれました！
My name is Jimmy, and I am from the USA. In the USA we have some holidays that aren’t celebrated in Japan. For example: on November 28 we celebrate Thanksgiving. It is a holiday in which we get together with family and friends to share a large meal, usually consisting of turkey, potatoes, and vegetables. The purpose of the holiday is say all the things we are thankful for; usually good health and happy families. Traditionally Thanksgiving dinner begins at 2pm and concludes around 4pm or 5pm. Afterwards, families typically participate in some sort of family sports event, basketball, American football, or baseball. It is an interesting holiday that usually brings joy to families through the consumption of bountiful and delicious food.
