英会話スクール・英会話教室【講師ブログ:Allan】Autumn in the Adirondacks

In Hokkaido everyone has recently become excited to see the leaves changing color and go hiking or camping amongst the nature.

Back home, upstate New York, I live in an area known as the Adirondack Mountains. When autumn hits people from all over New York state (and the US, in general) flock to the Adirondacks not just to see the leaves change color but for what truly is an autumnal culture in my home area.

Each and every fall local farms tap local maple trees and harvest local pumpkins, squashes and corn and the Adirondacks become a giant farmers market of sorts. The region is famous in New York for its maple syrup and pumpkin and apple products.

Drive deep into the forrests of the mountains and there are many campfires and trails for tourists to enjoy while they sip on hot apple cider. If you ever find yourself in the area I suggest stopping by the Burrville Cider Mill and watching the cider making process while you enjoy fresh drinks and the famous apple cider donuts.
