Recommended Movies for All Language Levels
1. 「Ocean’s 11」
-If you’re looking to watch a great heist then this is your movie. Recommended for medium to advanced learners or with subtitles as the plot is a little complicated.
2. 「The Matrix」
-It’s a killer action movie with an intriguing story. What’s not to like? Recommended for all learners but subtitles always help.
3. 「The Lord of The Rings」
-One of my favorite series of all time. Great for fantasy lovers. Recommended for advanced learners looking for a challenge or with subtitles as their are many strange made up names and words.
4. 「Marvel’s Avengers franchise」
-While there are many to choose from here, they are all entertaining in my opinion and are great for learning idioms. Recommended for all learners. My personal favorites include Captain America: Winter Soldier, Iron Man, Thor: Ragnorak and Antman.
5. 「Evil Dead 2」
-For horror fans who want something different, but still widely entertaining and intense. The English isn’t too difficult and the story is relatively straight forward so I recommend it for any learner so long as you’re prepared for some cinematic violence.
