Hello, I`m Scott, the new teacher at Aira Nova!
I`m from a small city in Scotland called Dundee, which is known as the “City of Discovery”because of its famous ship, which went to the South Pole, and the fact that Dundee people have invented lots of amazing things.
Before I came to Japan, I worked as a scientist, doing medical research and teaching science to children and adults.
I just moved to Kagoshima from Kitakyushu, where I taught with Nova in Kokura and Shimonoseki – I used to really enjoy visiting the Kanmon Strait and eating fugu at Karato market.
I`m very excited to be working in Aira – I love exploring nature, going hiking and checking out hot springs, so I`m very lucky to be here.
My other hobbies are playing the bass guitar (I love funk and rock music), watching movies (especially horror movies) and learning even more about science.
I`m looking forward to meeting and working together with all the new students in Aira!
