This past weekend I visited Osaka and Kobe for the first time, for a concert. Unfortunately, when I arrived from home to Shinagawa station, my Bullet train had been delayed for around 4 hours due to heavy rain. So I arrived at Shin-Osaka station around 6pm. That night, I walked around Osaka and visited the Umeda Sky building. I had a great view of the city from the top!
The next day, I visited Dotonbori and the famous Glico sign. After that, I went to Osaka Castle. That evening, I took the train to Kobe-Sannomiya station and went to Glion Arena to see the Yorushika concert. It was a fun time and I hope to go back someday.
Hi there, my name is Rabia and I’m from Cape Town, South Africa. South Africa is famous for its animals, safaris and beautiful nature. Cape Town is one of the most famous tourist spots, known for its beautiful sightseeing spots, including beaches (some where you can swim with penguins), mountains and forrests.

I have a Pharmacy degree, and worked as a pharmacy manager while travelling Europe and Asia during my holidays. While travelling Asia, I realized that I wanted to move overseas and work with one of my true passions – languages. So packed up and moved to Japan, the country I have always wanted to visit. I have have always been interested in Japanese culture and history, and now I get to spend my off days exploring new interesting places and learning more about Japan and the unique culture. Being able to visit Disneyland and Harry Potter Studios is a big bonus!
My music taste is a mix of rock, K-pop and J-pop, I enjoy watching movies, especially fantasy and horror, and Anime and K-Dramas are my go to things to watch in my free time. Reading is my favourite way to relax, and I love history, so whether its movies, series, books or interesting historical places I’m ready to check it out.
