Hello everyone! I’m Yusuke from Tucson, Arizona, USA.
My hobbies are photography, bike riding, jogging, and reading.
I was born in Nagoya, Japan, then I moved to America when I was young.
I lived most of my life in Arizona. Arizona is famous for the Grand Canyon,
and our beautiful desert sunsets. Arizona is next to Mexico, so we have
lots of Mexican culture and food in Arizona. I love tacos!
I came back to Japan to live near my family and to enjoy Japanese food
and culture. I love experiencing Japanese festivals and spending time
in nature here.
My favorite thing about Japan is the ocean! I love being able to
see the water and eat fresh seafood! My favorite Japanese food
is Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki.
A surprising fact about me is that I also speak Spanish!
Thank you for reading and I look forward to seeing you in class!
Hello.
I’m Charles. I’ll be teaching in Kokura in June on Tuesday and Friday. Please come in for a lesson.
I’m from America, the state of Oregon. It’s in the Pacific Northwest near Seattle.
Oregon is the home of Nike. The shoes were developed there and now the corporate headquarters are in Oregon. In June, in Oregon’s biggest city Portland, there is the annual Rose Festival. It’s a month long celebration of roses. There is a parade, a fun run marathon and other various events.
I live near Fukuoka city, in Kasuga. I have lived in Fukuoka for more than 20 years, I like Fukuoka very much. It’s similar to Portland in that it’s a big city but not too big and it is near mountains and the sea.
Recently I’ve gotten into hiking. I climbed Mt.Homan in Dazaifu, it was hard. In Itoshima I climbed Mt. Kayo, I think it’s nickname is little Mt. Fuji. I also enjoy playing golf but I haven’t been to the course recently.
I don’t have any plans this summer yet. Are there some interesting activities in Kita-Kyushu?
