ハロウィーンの思い出や過ごし方など、この時期だからこそ
盛り上がる話題で先生たちとのレッスンを楽しんでみてくだい✨

Ask any child what their favorite holiday is,
and Halloween will probably by near the top of the list.
Today, in the U.S. and Canana,
Halloween looks very different from the ancient holiday
once celebrated by the *Druids. *ドルイド…古代社会における祭司
But what exactly is Halloween?
Halloween is a fun occasion celebrated across North America.
It’s a day dedicated to remembering the dead,
often with “spooky” themes like ghosts,
monsters, and witches. However, unlike Obon in Japan,
Americans focus more on celebrating life and having
fun rather than *mourning the dead. *哀悼
The two main acticities children enjoy are wearing costumes
and going trick-or-treating. A costume is a special
outfit－people often dress up as superheroes,
famous characters, or funny animals.
Trick-or-treating involves children visiting their
neighbors’ houses to ask or candy, using te famous phrases,
“Tick or treat!”
In the past, if someone didn’t hand out candy(a treat),
the children might play a small prank－or “trick”－on that
house, such as throwing eggs at the door or covering a
tree with toilet paper.
Adults also get into the Halloween spirit with costumes
prties, contests, and plenty of drinkings.
Both children and adults alike love Halloween!
