今回はアメリカ出身のChristian先生が、
日本のお気に入りの場所についてブログを書いてくれました📚

There are so many places to visit in Japan and with more and more tourists visiting every year it can be difficult to find places that are enjoyable and fun without them being completely swarmed with visitors. This is most difficult in the Kanto and Kansai areas, where Japan’s premier cities are located and incidentally where the most people flock to. However, there are many places that are off the beaten path that are still enjoyable without dealing with huge crowds. These are the places that I like and recommend to people who are looking for fun and interesting but aren’t commonly visited by tourists.

In Kanto area, while places around Tokyo and Fuji are commonly seen as some of the best to visit in Japan, I think that there are some relatively undiscovered gems. I really enjoy going to Nikko in Tochigi Prefecture for the hot springs and the beautiful temples and shrines although many more people are visiting it every year. In Saitama Prefecture, you can see the so-called “Little Edo” in Kawagoe which has many old Edo period houses and other buildings which alongside the traditional food and clothing that you can see and have there, can really transport you back to that time and is worth visiting for anyone interested in traditional culture, food, history and architecture. I also really enjoy the mountain at Kusatsu for its wonderful views and good hiking around these magnificent crater lakes and the fact that its an active volcano provides it with some really powerful (and stinky) hot springs which dot the area around the mountain. It’s great for a weekend or a day trip and probably is my favorite place to go for a traditional hot spring and inn in Japan and it’s much less crowded than Hakone!

In the Kansai region, which is normally dominated by Kyoto and Osaka, there are other places which are arguably just as good as the best those two cities have to offer. One of my favorite places to visit in the region is Mount Koya. While not entirely unknown it is still underrated when it comes to history, hiking views and experiencing the best of traditional Japan. Its temples and shrines are some of the most revered and beautiful in the country and the cemetery on the mountain which sprawls beneath its towering pines is hauntingly beautiful. I was even able to stay the night in a temple hostel and see the monks perform ceremonies throughout the night and day! On your way out of Koya, you can visit the beaches of Wakayama in summer for some spectacular surfing and swimming or just some good sunbathing time on the beach! These are just a couple of the places that I’ve had the opportunity to enjoy exploring in Japan that are a little bit off the usual itineraries of visitors and travelers within the country that I think are worthy of more attention. 🥬🍖【NOVA大宮西口校】大人気講師が認めた韓国料理🍖🥬

アニョハセヨ！こんばんは！
NOVA大宮西口校です🌙

今回は、2週連続で韓国語大人気講師のJungwhan先生が
日本でも食べられる、おいしい韓国料理についてブログを書いてくれました！

안녕하세요.

저는 한국어 인스트럭터 이정환입니다.

요즘 들어 신오쿠보에 갈 기회가 많아졌어요.

친구가 예전부터 가고 싶어했던 한국 식당이 있다고 해서 한번 가 봤는데 생각보다 손님들이 많아서 깜짝 놀랐어요.

이 식당의 대표 메뉴인 고추장맛 불고기와 돼지고기 김치찌개를 주문했어요.

그리고 추가로 모둠 3종 김치도 주문해 봤어요.

시간이 얼마 지나지 않아 주문한 음식들이 나오기 시작했어요.

식당 직원분이 고기를 직접 구워 주신 덕분에 편하게 먹을 수 있었어요.

김치찌개에 밥도 같이 나왔는데 먹는 방법이 조금 특이했어요.

밥 위에 찌개를 조금 덜어서 김가루를 넣고 비벼서 먹는 건데 너무 맛있었어요.

문제는 너무 맛있는 나머지 공깃밥을 하나 더 시켜서 남기지 않고 싹싹 긁어 먹었어요.

친구 덕분에 오늘도 맛있게 잘 먹었어요!!

暖かくなり、桜も咲き始める季節になってきましたね！

今回は人気韓国語講師のJungwhan先生が、

여러분은 한국에서 벚꽃을 본 적이 있나요?

한국 사람들도 봄이 되면 벚꽃을 보러 여기저기로 나들이를 떠나는데요.

그래서 오늘은 서울의 유명한 벚꽃 명소에 대해서 소개하겠습니다.

1. 여의도 한강공원

매년 이맘때쯤 여의도 봄꽃축제가 열리는데 올해는 4월 4일(금요일)부터 8일(화요일)까지라고 해요.

다양한 공연과 전시회, 그리고 체험 프로그램들이 준비되어 있다고 해요.

일본의 벚꽃놀이와는 어떤 점이 다른지 비교해 보는 것도 재미있을 것 같아요.

2. 서울숲

성수동에서 커피 한 잔 마시고 느긋하게 산책하고 싶다면 정말 최적의 장소일 것 같아요.

들리는 소문으로는 사슴들도 볼 수 있다고 해요.

그 외에도 곤충식물원과 나비정원도 있어서 도시 속의 자연을 마음껏 즐기기에 좋을 것 같아요.

🏆⚽【NOVA大宮西口校】Qualification for the World Cup 2026⚽🏆

皆様、先日のサッカー日本代表戦はご覧になられましたか？⚽

Qualification for the World Cup 2026

As you may know, the football world cup will take place in 2026 in three countries: the USA, Canada, and Mexico, from 11th June to 19th July.

Matches will be played in 16 cities. It will be the first world cup since 2002 to be hosted by more than one country. 2002 was, of course, hosted by Japan and South Korea.

It will be the first finals to include 48 countries.

Congratulations to Japan for becoming the first country to qualify for the 2026 world cup, after beating Bahrain 2-0 at Saitama Stadium last week!

The final will take place in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The stadium there is usually known as Metlife Stadium but will be called the New York/New Jersey Stadium for the tournament, in accordance with F.I.F.A policy.

Does Japan have a chance of winning the World Cup? What do you think?

🍲🥩【NOVA大宮西口校】韓国式のしゃぶしゃぶって？🥩🍲

今回は、大宮西口校の大人気韓国語講師Jungwhan先生が
韓国式のしゃぶしゃぶについて教えてくれました🥄

안녕하세요.

저는 한국어 인스트럭터 이정환입니다.

오늘은 한국식 샤브샤브에 대해서 소개하겠습니다.

인터넷에서 한국식 샤브샤브를 신오쿠보에서도 먹을 수 있다는 정보를 보고 친구를 졸라 서둘러서 갔다 왔어요.

많이 배고팠던 친구랑 저는 이 식당의 대표 메뉴인 런치 전용 소고기 샤브샤브 정식과 물만두를 주문했어요.(여기 사진에는 없지만 나중에 추가로 부추전도 주문했는데 너무 맛있는 나머지 사진 찍는 것을 깜빡했어요.)

주문한 음식이 나오자 마치 한국에 와 있는 것 같았어요.

※ 주의사항
한국식 샤브샤브를 먹는 방법이 사람들마다 조금씩 다를 수 있다는 점을 먼저 알려드립니다. 처음 가시는 분이라면 식당 직원에게 꼭 물어보세요!!

샤브샤브용 육수가 들어있는 냄비에 먼저 채소를 넣고 3분 정도 푹 끓여요.

그러고 나서 고기를 넣고 다시 2분 정도 푹 끓인 다음 소스에 찍어서 먹으면 정말 꿀맛이에요.

기호에 맞게 다진 양파, 다진 고추, 다진 마늘, 다진 파를 소스에 적당량 넣어서 먹으면 또 새로운 맛을 즐길 수 있어요.(매운 맛을 싫어하는 분이라면 주의해 주세요!!)

어느 정도 채소와 고기를 맛있게 먹고 나서 칼국수 면을 넣고 5분 정도 푹 끓여서 겉절이 김치와 같이 먹으면 그 맛을 아직도 잊을 수가 없어요.

오랜만에 먹어본 물만두와 부추전도 남김없이 맛있게 다 먹고 나왔어요.

생각보다 식당에 한국 사람들이 많이 있어서 조금 놀랐어요.

이러다가 단골이 될 것 같아요.

【従来】レッスンの7日前から前日までのキャンセル・・・エクストラポイントに変更

【変更後】レッスンの前営業日18時までのキャンセル・・・通常ポイントに返却

※キャンセル可能回数は、予約制コースは月4回、一括制コースは月8回となります。キャンセル可能回数を超えてのキャンセルは、消化扱いとなります。

🏫🗽【NOVA大宮西口校】アメリカの卒業式🗽🏫

3月に入り、卒業式のシーズンがやってまいりましたね🌸

卒業を迎えられた方・これから迎えられる方、おめでとうございます🌸

今回は、アメリカの卒業式について
ニューヨーク出身のChristianがブログを書いてくれました📚

Although many people have some kind of ceremony to celebrate them finishing elementary or middle school, many Americans consider the first true graduation ceremony to be their high school graduation. The ceremony is held in the school’s auditorium or another venue like a theater the class is rather large (which is often the case in big American high schools.) The students and faculty come dressed in a cap and gown, which is traditional associated with the graduation ceremony, although the colors can vary quite a bit. My high school had purple caps and gowns, while other schools might use blue, black or green. Students also decorate their caps with funny slogans or sayings or interesting art or they represent their club, sports team or maybe even their country of origin.

At the beginning of the ceremony speeches are given by a variety of people. Typically, the principal or dean of the school will address the students and then in university, a guest speaker will give another speech. Often the guest speaker is a well-respected person in academia or a celebrity if the school is well-known. Another important speaker is the valedictorian, or the highest-performing student at the school, who is honored with the right to address their classmates.

After that, the students line up and walk across the stage in front of their families and friends to receive their diploma from the school’s faculty. Often times this is a serious and important moment for many people, but I remember treating it quite funnily and I ran down the stage and threw my hat into the crowd towards my friends as a joke. After all the names are called and all the students receive their diploma, it’s common for the students to throw their caps up into the air. Eventually, the ceremony comes to an end and all the students take pictures with the families, friends, and teachers and then go off to celebrate with graduation parties or dinners. Students also commonly receive a graduation present from the family and relatives. This can be in the form of some money or an expensive accessory. Sometimes people get to go on graduation trips paid for by their relatives or even get a new car! My own parents paid for me to fly to Europe over the summer which was super fun! Overall the ceremony is fun way to end the school year and celebrate the completion of your schooling and the start of the rest of your life.
