Starting the day well
Hello everyone! Hope you’re all having a beautiful day. Today I want to share some of my daily habits that I implement in my mornings to help start the day off well, feeling more positive and ready to do my best!
1. Meditating
This is something I’ve started to do just recently but I found myself feeling less stressed and better able to handle my emotions if I start the morning with a moment of peace and quiet. You don’t need to make yourself sit down on the floor with your legs crossed like the zen masters. Instead, just spend a minute or two focusing on your breathing and “empty your mind”. We have more than enough things happening in our life at super speed so we can at least spend a couple of minutes at the start to reset.
2. Exercise
A short morning exercise will really help you shake off the drowsiness that might still linger after waking up. This could be done in the form of walking around the neighborhood, having a stretch in the living room, or maybe even a quick dance to some happy music. Exercise has been scientifically proven to help kickstart your brain and feel much more positive about the challenges that lie ahead in the day.
So this is just two of the daily habits that I do for most of my mornings. I do highly recommend that you try to implement this in your life too! Of course you can adjust this to ways that fits best for you. Some people might be able to go for a full 10km run every morning while others are better suited to try some simple 5 minute stretches.The most important thing is to find the right method that you can enjoy and consistently do everyday.

meditating（瞑想）とexercise（運動）を長い時間使わなくていいのでやってみるといいよ、とのことですね。
瞑想と言ってもヨガのポーズをする必要もなく、頭を空っぽにしてみるということのようですね。それと自分に合った量の運動。
確かにこれを毎朝続けると心身ともに健康になりそうです😆

My Hometown
Today I want to tell you a little bit about my hometown of Nottingham in England.
I wasn`t born in Nottingham,I moved there when I was 9 years old from Zimbabwe.However it was where I grew up and will always be my hometown to me!
Nottingham is a city about 300km north of London.It`s not big like Tokyo or London,I`d say it`s probably about the same size as Hiroshima.
When people ask me about Nottingham I usually say it`s famous for 2 things.The first is that Robin Hood came from Nottingham.Robin Hood was an outlaw who it`s said stole from the rich to give to the poor.It`s a very famous story in England and there has been many movies and TV shows about him.Maybe the most famous movie starred Kevin Costner and Bryan Adams sang the theme song which was very successful! Many of Nottingham`s tourist attractions like Sherwood Forest and Nottingham Castle are from the Robin Hood story!
The second is Nottingham Forest Football Club.They`re not even in the Premier League now but 40 years ago we had the best soccer team in the world and won the European Cup and English League.The manager,Brian Clough,is very famous in the soccer world and there are statues of him in Nottingham.
Most of my growing up was done in Nottingham,and it`s still where most of my family lives.I hope I can go back for a holiday once flying is normal again!

My name is Michael and I was born and raised in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. Many people dream about going surfing at the many beautiful beaches or going hiking up Diamondhead.
However, from a young age I fell in love with the Japanese culture. It became my dream to live in Japan after I graduated from college.
My hobbies include playing video games, watching movies, and listening to music. My favorite video game is Dragon Quest. My favorite movie is Harry Potter. And my favorite singer is Otsuka Ai. So if you have any recommendations, please let me know.
I know it can be very difficult to learn a new language, but together I am sure we can have a fun time.So I hope to meet many of you soon.

This may come as a surprise to some students but one of my hobbies is making electronic dance music!
When I was about 18 years old I was introduced to House, Techno and electronic music through public radio and instantly fell in love.
After that I started going clubbing…I loved the energy of the music and the atmosphere. I had a lot of fun times and met some great people. I started DJing at house parties too but wasn’t very good. 😔
So when I came to Japan I was able to see some of my favorite DJs and that inspired me to take up producing music myself. I’ve had a couple of tracks and remixes released under another name but mostly I just do it for fun. I’m always learning and being influenced by different sounds and experiences.
I even made a track called “Tokyo” which was influenced by the atmosphere and sounds of living here.
I would love to hear about your hobby next time we meet!

父亲节顾名思义是感恩父亲的节日。
始于二十世纪初，起源于美国。现已广泛流传于世界各地。
日期在每年六月第三个星期日。
在中国，没有设定正式的父亲节但是民众习惯上使用六月第三个星期日。
为了表达子女的心意，一般选择请父亲和家人一起吃饭，送父亲需要的东西，比如，衣服，鞋，领带，皮带，包等。送花的话以送太阳花或者黄色的玫瑰为主。
父の日は文字通り、お父さんに感謝する日です。
始まったのは20世紀の最初で、アメリカが発祥とのこと。
今は全世界に広まった文化です。
6月の第三日曜日です。
中国での正式な祝日ではないですが、みんなこの日に感謝を伝えています。
一般的には子供たちがお父さんにご飯をご馳走してあげます。
またお父さんのほしい物をプレゼントしてあげます。
例えば、服・靴・ネクタイ・ベルト・鞄など。
お花ならひまわりか黄色いバラを送ります。
どの国でも母の日同様、父の日には感謝の気持ちをプレゼントなどで表現しているのですね💛

Food recommendations – Cafes in Australia.
Hi everyone, my name is Hiroki, and today I am sharing about some cafe foods and drinks you should try if you ever visit Gold Coast or any other city in Australia!
First is coffee! Australia has great coffee and we love espresso style coffee such as latte and cappuccino.
However, we have our own unique style called “flat white”. Essentially, it is a stronger version of a latte.
So if you like coffee that is less milky with a stronger coffee kick, Flat White is the way to go.
And if what you want is something cold to cool you off under the warm Aussie sun. Then I recommend you to try our “ice coffee”. This is different to the typical latte with ice. This is a mix of an espresso shot (usually two), cold milk and a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. The perfect blend of sweet and bitter.
At the same time you are trying the coffee, you MUST try some of our brunch (Breakfast/Lunch) menus.
This can range from your typical western breakfast with bacon, egg, toast and hash browns (Yum!), Eggs Benedict to unique menus that is only available at each specific cafes! I have had my share of dishes such as Grilled Banana Cinnamon French Toast, Potato Hash-Cakes and Gourmet Club Sandwiches.
Although we may be limited in what we can do right now, keep your heads up because things are already starting to look better and I am sure the opportunity to travel will come before you know it!
