本日はオーストラリア出身の講師Lukeにオーストラリアで3月といえば？ときいたところ、こんなブログを書いてくれましたのでそのご紹介です🌟
🏁Melbourne Grand Prix🏁
In March every year the Australian Grand Prix is held in Melbourne. It is always the first Formula 1 race of the season, with around 21 races held throughout the year in various other countries. Being the first race of the season, it is a highly anticipated event. It is the first chance the teams have to compete with each other and get an idea of how their new cars and new drivers perform.
The race takes place at Albert Park, close to the center of Melbourne city. It is one of five street circuits on the F1 calendar. This year, the race has been postponed until November, due to the pandemic. Last year the event was canceled, but only at the last minute: on the opening morning of the 2020 race, with thousands of fans waiting at the gates to enter the park, the decision was finally made not to go ahead with the event. All of the disappointed fans had to turn around and go home.
In 2021 a young Japanese driver will enter F1: 21 year old Yuki Tsunoda will join the Alpha Toro team. Because of Melbourne`s postponement, he will debut at Barhain Grand Prix on March 26. Go!
オーストラリアのメルボルンでは毎年3月にF1のレースが開催されているのですね！シーズン開幕戦のため、いつも注目を集めるレースになっているようです。
しかしこのメルボルングランプリ、昨年は中止となり、今年は11月に延期されることが決まったそうです。Luke先生も書いている通り、3月26日からの開幕戦はバーレーンで開催されることになりました。
メルボルンでの開催は少し後になってしまいますが、若き日本人ドライバーの活躍をLuke先生も楽しみにしているようですね💕
まだまだ実際海外に行ってレースを観るのは難しい世の中ではありますが、今後行くであろう海外旅行の時のために語学学習を今から始めましょう！
