I went to Enoshima in Kanagawa.
I love the beach.
All Australians love the beach.
In Australia, it is normal to walk on the sand
without shoes and a shirt on.
It is also common to walk along the street,
and enter cafes, shops and ice cream parlours
without shoes and still wearing swim wear and bikinis.
Australians also like to sun bake.
We lie on the beach sand for hours and hours
because we want a golder tan.
There are free out door public BBQ’s we can use.
As the sun sets, friends and family gather together
for beers and a BBQ.
It’s really fun and relaxing.
I didn’t see any of this at Enoshima.
I guess Japanese and Australian beach culture is different.
