『インディペンデンス・デー』についてご紹介いたします( *´艸｀)🌟🌟
～Independence Day～
The Fourth of July is the birthday of the United States of America,
otherwise known as Independence Day.
It celebrates the day in 1776 when the United States was established.
Back in those days, there were 13 states, now we have 50.
Usually on Independence Day, which is a national holiday, Americans have picnics, parades, barbecues, go to baseball games and watch fireworks at night.
Decorations are red white and blue to match the colors of the American flag.
Picnics and barbecues often have food such as fried chicken, potato salad,hotdogs, hamburgers and Coca-Cola or beer.
Fireworks shows are held in many cities, with New York having the largest show.
Unlike Japan, it’s rare to be able to buy fireworks for your own private use, due to safety and fire worries.
Traditional patriotic songs such as the national anthem, God bless America, America the Beautiful etc. are often played at Independence Day events.
