もうすぐお盆休みとなりますね。
とても🌞🌞暑い日が続きますが皆様、いろいろなご予定おありでしょうか？
さて、長岡京では8/1にお子様のイベントの一環としまして、
English Day Campを開催しました。
🌍英語で地理や世界の国のこと、旅行の英語表現など学びました🌍
以下が担当講師のAndy先生からのレポートとなります。
On August 1st we held a kids summer camp event at the Nagaokakyo school.
We studied English, geography, and science.
In our English lesson, we practiced introducing ourselves and explaining our birthday, birthplace and home country. We made passports and practiced speaking to an immigration officer in English while traveling to Hong Kong!
In the geography lesson we used clay to make a replica of Earth. We talked about the different places and sizes of countries and continents.
And finally, in the science lesson, we built a volcano and studied what causes volcanic eruptions. We did this by doing an experiment using baking soda and vinegar to replicate a volcanic eruption. We agreed that the science lesson was the most fun!!
英語を話しながらお子様もとても楽しみながら一緒に作成して頂けました！！！
