Luyanda（ルヤンダ） 先生をご紹介します！
映画業界でのユニークなキャリアや、東南アジアでの海外生活を経て、今年4月に京都へとやってきたばかりのルヤンダ先生。一体どんな先生なのか、さっそくプロフィールを覗いてみましょう！
プレトリアってどんなところ？
ルヤンダ先生は、南アフリカのピーターマリエッツバーグで生まれ、首都の一つであるプレトリアで育ちました。
プレトリアは、街が美しい紫色に染まる「ジャカランダの木々」や、歴史的シンボルである「ユニオン・ビル」があることでとても有名な街なんだそう。南アフリカの素敵なローカルカルチャーについて、レッスンでぜひ質問してみてくださいね！
My name is Luyanda and I am a South African English Instructor. I was born in Pietermaritzburg but I grew up in Pretoria. Pretoria is known for its Jacaranda tress and The Union Building. I graduated in 2019 with a degree in film and television and I worked as a freelance writer, director and producer for a few years. In 2022, I switched to TEFL teaching and I relocated to Myanmar, Southeast Asia where I lived and worked for 2.5 years. I came to Kyoto, Japan in April of 2026 to experience a new culture and learn more about Japanese history.
My love for travelling started when I was 17. I had the opportunity to travel to seven European countries; Switzerland, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Austria, Hungary and Serbia. I love listening to music such as jazz and various South African music genres such as amapiano. I enjoy reading books such as history, romance and suspense. My favourite types of TV shows are crime shows, detective shows and drama. Thank you all for reading and I hope I meet you soon.
