🌸 Spring Is Finally Here!
Spring is in the air! The days are getting warmer, flowers are blooming, and it’s the perfect time to refresh your English skills.
Have you noticed how people talk about the weather in English? It’s one of the easiest ways to start a conversation.
Here are a few useful phrases:
- “It’s getting(warmer) lately.”
- “What a lovely day!” (In the UK, ‘lovely’ is often used for ‘nice’, ‘great’, or even ‘delicious’, e.g. “This cake is lovely”)
Talking about the weather may seem simple, but it’s a great way to build confidence and connect with others.
This season, try starting a conversation with someone using one of these phrases. You might be surprised how naturally the conversation flows!
