National Pizza Day: America’s Favorite Food
National Pizza Day is celebrated every year
on February 9th. In the United States,
Pizza is one of the most popular meals,
and this day is the perfect excuse to enjoy
a delicious slice. While pizza originally
came from Naples, Italy, it was brought to America
by immigrants in the early 1900s.
Today, it si a staple of American culture.
On this day, many pizzerias offer special
discounts or “buy one, get one free” deals.
Americans love to epxperiment with different types of
crust, such as thin crust or Chicago-style deep deish.
The most popular topping by far is pepperoni, but many
people also enjoy mushrooms, sausage, or even pineapple.
Whether you order from a big chain like Pizza Hut or
Dominos, or a local slice shop, National Pizza Day is
a fun way to celebrate a meal that brings people together
