講師紹介第三弾！今回はMbali先生のご紹介です♪

Hello! My name’s Mbali, and I am from Pretoria, South Africa. Fun fact, South Africa is the only country that has 3 capital cities and Pretoria is one of them.
In South Africa, seasons are often connected to family time and gatherings. Important life events and seasonal momements are marked with traditional food, music and respect for elders. Greeting people properly and showing gratitude are very important customs.
Summer is a time for outdoor activities, family braais (barbecues), and swimming at the beach. New Year’s day is my favorit celebation during this season. Fall feels calmer and is often a time for reflection and preparing for change. Winter is my favorite. It’s a time to share delicious meals, stories and warmth. Spring represents new beginnings in the Zulu culture. It is a time for growth and celebrations.
Seasonal traditions i love in Japan…
Living in Japan has helped me appreciate how beautifully seaons are celebrated.
In spring, I love going cherry blossom viewing (hanami) and enjoying seasonal sweets. In summer, I enjoying going to festivals, seeing fireworks and eating some shaved ice. In fall, I like veiwing Fall leaves and enjoying some sweet potato. And in winter, hot baths and Japanese hotpot are my favorite.
My hobbies include exploring new places, visting temples and shrines, journaling and hiking. However, I’ve been knitting a lot during the winter season, it’s too cold to go outside.
English learning tip: Watch English TV shows and movies, and speak a little every day. Even short sentences help you improve your confidence skills.
