Hello, my name is Dustin Silver and it is my absolute pleasure to introduce myself to you as a new member of the NOVA team at the Nishi-Umeda!
I’m eager to meet all of you and share my English teaching expertise.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, I have just recently moved to Osaka along with my wife who is from Kobe city in Hyogo prefecture.
I plan to stay in Japan for the long-term and experience all the interesting aspects that this unique culture has to offer.
I have studied Japanese myself for a few years and can understand the difficulties of learning a new language, but also how rewarding it can be to have the ability to speak confidently.
My main hobbies include traveling throughout Japan, especially visiting historic shrines and castles, playing music and learning about history, including the rich history of Japan and its people.
As a teacher, I promise to be engaging, patient and helpful at all times in an effort to make sure you master your English ability.
