9月になったというのにまだまだ暑い日が続きますね。残暑も厳しそうですね🥵
この夏、韓国やフィリピンなどに旅行された方にその国の暑さはどうでしたか？とお伺いすると、帰ってきたら、日本の方が暑いですということでした。

さて、今回はロンドン出身のイギリス人講師のＢｅｎ先生にロンドンの夏を
紹介して頂きました。

Hello! How is everyone doing during the hot summer?
In summer time it is really important to stay hydrated and remember to keep in the shade as much as possible.
In London at the moment, summer is finally beginning to settle down and generally it is a lot cooler than Japan.
London typically only has about maybe one or two weeks of hot weather, somewhere in the low 30s, but even so, without any airconditioning on public transport or in malls and supermarkets, it is really hard to cope.
During summer, people in London typically like to go sunbathing in parks or go to music festivals but we don’t typically have summer festivals in the same way Japan does.
In fact most people dislike summer the most out of the whole year! What do you like doing in summer?

ロンドンの夏は短く２．３週間くらいということで、最近はだんだんと暑くなってきているかもしれませんが、スーパーマーケットや交通機関などエアコンない場所も沢山あるようです。そういうところはちょっと長く滞在できないようですね。９月になると、少しずつクールダウンしているようです。
ただ日本のように夏！！らしいイベントはないようで、公園に行って日光浴したりするぐらいのようです。（今の暑さで日光浴は難しいと思いますが）
ロンドンの人は夏があまり好きではなく、クールダウンするのを待っているということです。
Ben先生も夏早く終わって！！とマジで言っています。
本当にもう少し涼しくなってほしいですね。したいことが楽しめるように
