I came to Hiroshima to write music.
I think music can help to connect with language in a deep
and meaningful way. Hiroshima inspired me to write
an album about renewal.
All of us have lost things in our lives and learning
how to let go of our past and move forward
can bring peace. Hiroshima stands as a symbol of peace
and renewal that has taught me how to move forward
when I did not know how.
one of the most exciting things that has happened to me
since I moved here was getting to sing some of my songs
at the 80th Peace Memorial Celebration.
It was a dream come true.
