本日はJeremy先生の旅についてお話します。
After having used the town of Wakkanai in Hokkaido as a reference point many times in lesson, the idea was born for me to visit there someday. In a M2M free chat lesson last year, I discussed using the “Seishun 18 Kippu” (a train ticket I have used before, that gives unlimited travel on local trains only – no expresses or bullet trains!) to travel there and potentially even back as well.
As such, the idea has been slowly developing ever since. Now, this Obon, I will carry out the plan and do a 4000km round trip to Wakkanai, travelling up the east coast of Japan, before returning down the west coast of Japan over the course of 3 weeks.
Sounds fun … crazy, but fun!
