本日は、昨年の年末に来日後、西宮北口校で勤務し、人気急上昇中の、Joshua先生をご紹介致します☆
Hello! My name is Joshua Emery and I’m a teacher at the Nishinomiya Kitaguchi school.
I was born in London, England and moved to West Yorkshire when I was 6 years old. I lived there for 14 years before I spent one year studying at the University of Wyoming in the U.S.A.
I arrived in Japan last year, and I’ve been surprised by how many great things there are here! The trains are so much better than those in England, making travelling to other cities so easy and convenient. There are so many different restaurants in Japan, so I can try lots of delicious and unique food! While I love many things about Japan, I’m still getting used to all of the bicycles on the pavements! I’m always afraid I’ll walk into a bicycle.
My hobbies are hiking, watching movies, playing the guitar and visiting castles. Nishinomiya is a great place to live, and it’s perfect for my hobbies. It’s so close to great hiking spots; Mount Kabuto, the Takedao train tracks and Mount Rokko. So I try to go hiking as often as I can. There are many castles in the Hyogo area, and it is so easy to get to them from Nishinomiya with Himeji castle only 40 minutes away and Osaka castle only twenty minutes away.
