As the weather gets hotter and hotter, we can hear the cicadas buzzing and see many kids playing outside. Summer vacation is approaching fast, I’m sure everyone is excited for some free time to either relax at home with the air conditioning blasting some cool air, or traveling far or near with the family. As for me, I plan to meet some of my friends and travel around. Amanohashidate is in the northern part of Kyoto, one of the three scenic views, known for its beautiful scenery and fresh seafood. I think I’ll take a day trip during summer vacation, for the later half, Nagoya is my destination. With a Studio Ghibli park, aquarium with orcas (my favourite animal), Nagoya castle, and red miso (aka miso), I wouldn’t miss it. I recommend you take care because of the heat, drink a lot of water and stay sheltered from the sun. If you must go out, don’t forget the sunscreen!
