さて、本日は田無校に出勤している講師より
自己紹介をさせて頂きます🎵
🌟Rick🌟
Hello👋 My name is Rick and I am from the Midwest region of America.
During my years in university I studied Japanese history, language, and culture🏯 As a result of such studies I have become particularly interested in various traditional performance arts such as Noh and Tea ceremony.
I also have an interest in woodblock prints that date back specifically to the Edo period. I came to Japan in March of this year and have been to several prefectures such but not limited to Tochigi and Miyagi and hope to visit many more within the near future. I enjoy absorbing myself in different kinds of hobbies and two that come to mind is Shogi and literature translations. Here at Nova I hope to orchestrate lessons that are clear, concise, and engaging. If interested please feel free to schedule a class appointment with me anytime❕❕

Since living in Japan I have learned and experienced various kinds of differences in culture from that of my home country and here.
And though there are many differences between Japan and America,
one that is particularly interesting to me is that of the inclusion of children’s aid in maintaining a clean and sanitary facility
within elementary and junior schools👀❕
In American school systems this concept is nearly unheard of,
and though on occasion some American high schools will have students assist in cleaning this is not incorporated in elementary and
junior high schools in the slightest as there are dedicated janitors on standby at a given facility instead.
I think that’s unfortunate as I believe having children be a part of the cleaning process teaches them good values❕
