クリスマスと言えば、英語圏の代表的な文化ですね！
語学を勉強することは、文化を学ぶこと！
というわけで、今回はイギリスのクリスマスをご紹介しちゃいます(^o^)／

🎄イギリスのクリスマスで1番大事なことは？？
It may be an obvious answer, but it has to be family and friends. It is the time of the year when everyone gets together and drinks (a lot) and eats (a lot) . Of course, in the past the religious story of Christmas was the priority. And when I was a child, getting presents was certainly the priority.
🎄英国式クリスマスの特徴は？？
I think our Christmas dinner is very British. It is very similar to roast dinners or Sunday dinners. We have carved meat (often turkey) with boiled potatoes, roasted potatoes, sweet potatoes , Yorkshire puddings, pigs in blankets and various vegetables (Brussels sprouts being the specialty), all covered in a beautiful gravy sauce. During dinner, this is a kind of game where you all get a paper hat, a small gift and small piece of paper with a joke written on it.
🎄日本とイギリスのクリスマスの違いはある？？
Well, there are many similarities actually. Both have illuminations, cold weather a d gifts. The biggest difference is perhaps that EVERYONE in the UK gives gifts and (almost) NOBODY works. Whereas in Japan, that depends on the person or family. Also, here is absolutely no Christmas KFC® in the UK!
