■日本に来て驚いたこと (What has surprised you about Japan?)
I am constantly surprised by how wonderful the people I’ve met are!
It was very intimidating to move here alone, but I have met so many kind and helpful people here.
I am grateful everyday for how nice the people around me have been.
■前の仕事 (What was your previous job?)
I was a pharmacy technician at Giant Eagle Pharmacy,
and before that I worked at my university as an assistant in the history department.
■日本に興味を持ったきっかけ (What got you interested in Japan?)
During my university studies, I learned about the Meiji Restoration
and I realized that the best way to discover more about that fascinating part of history
would be to come here and learn from the source.
