Hi everyone!

My name’s Rick, and I grew up outside of Chicago, Illinois.

Chicago is known as the Windy City, because of the strong wind that comes off Lake Michigan and blows through the tall buildings. We call these tall buildings “skyscrapers”

The most famous Chicago skyscraper is the Willis Tower. Before it was called the Sears tower, but the Willis company bought it. It’s kind of like how the PayPay Dome used to be the Yafuoku Dome.

If you visit the Chicago, you have to try the deep dish pizza.

In my free time I like cooking, reading books, and hiking. I’ve been experimenting with making pickles recently. I’m also trying to make an authentic Chicago deep dish pizza, but I haven’t had much luck yet.

What do you like to cook? Do you have any local recipes you recommend?
