Thanksgivingについて教えてもらいました！

Thanksgiving
Basically, Thanksgiving is a day to give thanks for the harvest. It is an event that is celebrated in many countries with different names. However, Thanksgiving is mostly associated with the United States, where it is held on the 4th Thursday of November.
What school children are taught in school, and the reality in history is probably quite different, but it is related to the Pilgrims giving thanks for the food they received from the Native Americans after a very harsh winter.
Nowadays, when thinking of Thanksgiving, most Americans think of the famous parade in New York, American football, going shopping for Christmas presents and eating Thanksgiving dinner with family.

Of course it varies from family to family, and restaurant to restaurant, but the most typical things at a Thanksgiving dinner are as follows:
Roast turkey with stuffing inside
Mashed potatoes with gravy
Baked yams
Vegetables such as carrots, green beans or peas
Cranberry sauce
Biscuits or bread
