11月も中盤に入り、クリスマスも近づいてきました！
今回は敦賀アルプラザ校の講師Sandiが「クリスマスシーズンの祝日」をテーマに
南アフリカと日本の違いなどを紹介してくれました！

The festive season has began!🎄😁 now we see Christmas trees and Santa hats that remind us that we are getting closer to the end of the year.
This made me think of the differences between South African holidays and Japanese holidays.
Usually in South Africa, summer begins in December so it’s the perfect time for a summer vacation☀️🏖️. It’s a very exciting time because December has five national holidays for celebration.
It’s the day of reconciliation on the 16th, Christmas Eve on the 24th, Christmas Day on the 25th, day of goodwill on the 26th, and New Year’s Eve on the 31st.
All we do is celebrate and spend time with family🤭❤️

But in Japan, it’s the opposite. Winter begins in December🌨️⛄️. And there are no national holidays in December. But it’s still very exciting for me because I will enjoy a lot of snow in Fukui and make a Snowman ☃️

夏が始まる南アフリカとは反対に日本ではもうすぐ本格的な冬が始まりますが、
