日本の11月は冬に向けてだんだんと寒くなってきますが、
反対の場所にある国は今どんな気温なのでしょうか？？
今回はニュージーランド出身の講師Daleに
11月のニュージーランドについて色々聞いてみました！
・How is the weather and the temperature in NZ? Warm or cold?
11月のニュージーランドの天気や気温はどんな感じ？暑い？寒い？
→November is late Spring so the weather is changeable.
It can be sunny, cloudy, and rainy in one day!
It’s about 20 degrees C in the daytime so you can wear a T-shirt comfortably.
But be careful…you might need a rain jacket!
・What is famous or popular food in this season in NZ?
この季節ニュージーランドでよく食べられている食べ物は何？
→It’s getting warmer so popular Spring fruit are strawberries,
and citrus fruit like oranges, tangelos and grapefruit.
The best fruit growing areas in New Zealand are Hawkes Bay (Napier city)
and Marlborough/Tasman (Nelson city).
・Any events in this season in NZ?
この季節、何かイベントはある？
→You can find local music, craft and food festivals
around the country as the weather gets warmer.
New Zealand’s national Summer game, cricket is played from October,
so you can see the game in many parks and stadiums.
・Any recommended places to visit in NZ in this season?

→In the North Island, enjoy geothermal hot springs:
Relax in the hot pools at Rotorua’s Hells Gate,
Polynesian Spa, or Waikite Valley,
or dig your own pool at low tide at Hot Water Beach.
In the South Island, visit Christchurch – The Garden City:
See the cherry blossoms and daffodils bloom,
and watch ducklings in the city’s streams.
