「Trick or Treat」👻🎃

In America, Halloween is on October 31st every year. About 70% of the population celebrates this holiday because it is fun! Children often dress up in costumes and go trick or treating around their neighborhood to get candy and treats. Many neighborhoods decorate the front of their houses so they look fun and spooky. Parents sometimes dress up in costume and take their kids trick or treating, while some adults dress up and go to costume parties. There are often costume contests and there are prizes for the best costumes. If you are ever in America during Halloween time, I recommend you dress up and go to a costume party or visit a haunted house.
One of my favorite childhood memories was decorating my house both inside and out with Halloween decorations. My grandfather used to dress up in a scary costume and hide behind bushes to jump out and scare people who were trick or treating at hour house. The neighbors had a big fake graveyard display in their yard that was popular every year. One year my family didn’t have a lot of money so my siblings wrapped me in toilet paper to ‘make’ a mummy costume for me. It is a memory I will always cherish🎃✨
