t’s almost Autumn again!
In Japan, my favourite season is Autumn. Some neat things to try are sweet potatoes, chestnuts and pumpkin flavoured things.
In South Africa, since we’re in the opposite hemisphere, it would be Spring. Actually, September 1st is “Spring Day,”. We usually play water games like water-gun wars or water balloon battles.
This is also the perfect season for whale watching, Hermanus in the Western Cape is renowned for its whale migration festival around this time of year.
On the other hand, the warmer season brings plenty of elephants to the waterholes in the Eastern Cape. Addo Elephant National Park is ranked the most popular for elephant sightings.
